This antique blown glass bottle was made in the shape of a Victorian boot. We are guessing that it dates from the mid 1800s. This is a bottle collectors alert!
This antique bottle is an enigma, we've never seen any like it online, so the value could be much greater than we're listing it as. We think that it was most likely a perfume bottle. The glass looks hand blown due to the bubbles but this was pressed into a mold.
It looks like it was once painted gold because there are flecks of gold paint on the bottle. The bottle is now very clear. It's very clean. There are two cracks in it. One has been very expertly repaired in the lip of the bottle. The other repair is a crack in the heel. This crack doesn't go all the way through, but is visible.
The interesting thing about the cracks is that it looks like the bottle was painted after the cracks occurred. These are OLD cracks and could be from the manufacturing process.
If you know anything about this "Arcane Object" please let us know!
The bottle is about 4.5" tall by 4.5" long and 3.5" wide.
