This vintage Kodak No. 2A Autographic Folding Brownie Camera was made in the 1920s. This camera has its original stylus, the shutter works and the film roll advances. The overall body condition is very good for this camera.
This vintage film camera features an aluminum body covered with imitation leather. Accents are nickel and they are still very shiny for this camera. The leather handle is intact and the Kodak Autographic Brownie stamp is readable. It is missing the shutter push-pin, but the shutter can be depressed by pushing down on it. We have not tested this camera with film so cannot verify that it works.
This camera features the Kodak Autographic door, which allowed photographers to use the attached stylus to write directly on the film the location, subject, date or any other detail of the photograph. When the photo was processed, the writing would appear as light writing on the bottom of the photograph. This camera uses Kodak 116 film.
There is one tiny pinprick hole in the leather bellows which could be easily fixed to make it lightfast. Otherwise, the bellows are in good condition. The lens is clear and seems to be free of scratches. We can send you a digital version of the original camera manual after purchase.
This camera measures: Closed: 6.5 " x 5" x 3.25" Open: 6.5 " x 5" x 3.25"
