This wax seal stamp features a Celtic Cross design and comes in a faux suede drawstring pouch and consists of a finely etched seal stamp mounted on a turned wood handle.
The wax seal has been continually used on important documents since antiquity in the time of Mesopotamia. Sealing with a stamped wax seal has long been an elegant and noteworthy way to seal a letter, invitation or announcement.
This line of wax seals is the highest quality for non-antique seals we've ever used.
Each seal's handle is made of smoothly turned wood. The handle is sanded and finished to have an elegant look and comfortable feel. Each sealing wax stamp medallion has a crisp and well-routed image. (The manufacturer uses a CNC router.) The medallions are made of brass and are screwed into the wooden handle.
Each wax seal stamp comes in a Vegan suede, drawstring pouch.

The Celtic Cross is both a Christian and an ancient Celtic symbol with roots in ancient pre-Christian beliefs. The stone circle at Calanais, on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland, is formed in a rough circle, with an even-armed cross within it. This is believed to be a sun symbol to the creators of the stone circle, which became a sacred shape to the Celts. St Patrick is said to have taken this ancient sun symbol and extended one of the lengths to form a melding of the Christian Cross and the sun symbol, and thus the birth of the Celtic Cross.
Instructions for use:
To prepare you wax seal stamp for use, spray cooking oil spray on a soft, clean, cloth. Then rub the wax seal stamp on the cloth before use. Make sure that there are no fibers from the cloth on the seal before use. This way the wax won't stick to the seal. When you use the seal, wait until the wax cools a little bit, then press the seal and count to ten before removing.
The Wax Seal measures 3 1/2" x 1" in diameter. The seal is 1" in diameter.
Sealing wax sticks are not included but can be purchased elsewhere in our shop. The gold stand and stationery are also not included but can be purchased elsewhere in our shop.
