This sampler set consists of three 10ml bottles of the famed J. Herbin "Les Pearl de Encres" (The Pearl of Inks) in warm colors.
If you've been wanting to expand your creative horizons and try out new ink colors, this is your chance! J. Herbin inks are fine/artist grade quality and feature vibrant colors with a nice flow. These inks are perfect for fountain pens, glass pens and calligraphy dip pens.
The ink colors featured in this set are:
• Ambre de Birmanie (Yellow/Gold)
• Orange Indien (Orange)
• Rouge Carboubier (Red)
This ink is:
• Non toxic and pH neutral
• Water based
• Flows smoothly and is fast drying
• Made from all natural dyes
These are known as "D" bottle pen inks. The "D" refers to the old French unit of measure "la Demi Courtine". We also sell these J. Herbin Fountain Pen ink colors in a larger 30ml (1 oz) size bottle with built in pen-rest.
J. Herbin is the oldest name in pen inks in the world. "The Jewel of Inks" was created in Paris in 1700. J. Herbin currently produces these fine quality inks from their factory in France.
J. Herbin uses all natural dyes in their fountain pen inks. They have a neutral pH which makes them archival. This ink works equally well with dip pens, but is not waterproof, nor does it have shellac like some of the other India/China black inks we carry.
Arcane Objects shops the world for the highest quality writing ink. We carry a large variety of colors of ink for both fountain pens, calligraphy, and drawing.
